5. the snarky comment
6. the absurd comment
7. the joke comment
8. the praise comment
9. the insightful comment

Danny, I don't think that the categories are necessarily mutually exclusive; just that normally a comment will fall squarely within one category. Perhaps a truly great comment can transcend categorization.
