Hours of Education

You can watch all of Milton Freidman's PBS series, Free to Choose, here for ... well... free.

Thanks for the link. I'm sure cost will be many hours of otherwise sitting around.

Freidman himself did say there is no such thing as a free lunch. So you have some opportunity cost: the next best alternative. But this is something I've never fully understood. If the next best alternative is inferior in every way to the choice you make, is there really a cost?

What was the name of that website that you buy computer stuff at?

Maybe there are always costs to our choices, but there is always more opportunity as well. So we're continually accruing (as long as we have more time) and spending. Since our accrual if free, maybe all of our spending is free as well. There's no such thing as a non-free lunch!

The site is dealnews.com. The weekend laptop roundup is a good place to start (though they don't seem to do them every weekend).
